I have played countless of rounds of 21. I began working my way into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have played online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of funds at blackjack. The casinos have made it basically impossible to beat the game.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this tactic or beat the casino, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that blackjack seems to be a game of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy 21. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the bet back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable sometimes. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a number of years back with $750 after 20 mins using this tactic! And a number of months ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the runs you see wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 game.
Bet 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first five dollar bet
Wager 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet
Bet 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of $20
Bet $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial twenty dollar bet
Bet $20
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $80
Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar wager
Wager $80
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $160
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet
If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s difficult to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
